Couch 2 5K, or C25K, is a fantastic program that's been designed to get just about anyone from sitting on the couch to running 5 kilometres or 30 minutes in just 9 weeks.
We’ve organised many C25K programs over the years and we are super excited to be starting a new one on Wednesday 7 Jan 2026.
What is C25K?
C25K is a running plan for absolute beginners or people who have gotten out of running and are needing some moral support and help to get back into it.
The plan involves 3 runs a week, with rest days in between, and a different schedule for each of the 9 weeks. We will support and assist you with this by meeting every Wednesday for a walk/run and confirm your plan which will help keep you on track.

The program starts Wed 7 Jan - 6pm to 7pm - from Running Free for 9 weeks & it’s absolutely FREE.
